The Hartford Yard Goats will be honoring a number of GEMS students on Wednesday, April 19th at their 7:10pm game. Families are encouraged to attend and enjoy the discounted tickets offered by the Yard Goats for the event.

The GEMS PTO is selling soft and comfortable cotton socks with the words "GEMS" on them for $7 per pair in two different styles until April 6th. Payments with order form are due by April 6th, and all checks should be made out to GEMS PTO.

GEMS Activist Club is hosting a Black History Month Oratorical Contest for students to showcase their public speaking skills and knowledge of Black history.

On Thursday, January 26th, GEMS students had the opportunity to participate in the SuitUp Mock Interview Competition at the Sanofi offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
