Mr. Bessette 's 8th grade students' completed an ELA project titled The Periodic Table of Literary Elements! Each student was tasked to select several writing concepts and create posters containing the definitions, examples, and an MLA research citation. The table is on display in the 8th grade hallway for all to admire! CAMS is proud of these students' hard work!

We are SO proud of our students and our community for a successful Apex fundraiser! CAMS collected a $9,113.94 profit! 87% of our students logged in and created their pledge pages. 46% of our students received pledges. Over 2/3 of the donations came from outside of the community. Dean of Students, Ms. Serafino, would like to tell each CAMS student the following information: PLEASE COMPLETE THE ATTACHED FORM AND COME PREPARED WITH NAMES AND CONTACT INFORMATION OF POTENTIAL DONORS FOR YOUR FUNDRAISER KICKOFF ASSEMBLY TOMORROW, FRIDAY, MARCH 21ST. OUR GOAL IS FOR EACH STUDENT TO HAVE 10-20 NAMES. DONATIONS ARE NOT NEEDED AS OF YET. STUDENTS WILL BE CREATING THEIR DONATION PAGE PRIOR TO COLLECTING THE DONATIONS.

The PTO meeting tonight has been cancelled. Please plan to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences March 26th -29th and Superintendent Youngberg’s CAMS Community Listening Tour on March 28th. The next PTO meeting will be on April 24th.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗢𝗢𝗡! Our Apex COLOR GAMES fundraiser is coming to our school from MARCH 21-APRIL 1. We're so excited to tell you about our only major fundraiser this year, Apex Color Games! Apex is a local company and will be on campus for TWO weeks bringing excitement and energy to our school. During the Apex Fundraiser, students will be challenged to get donations to raise money for our school. Funds raised this year will be used for Behavior and Award Incentives, Field Trips and for the General Support of All Students at CARMEN ARACE Middle School. Each month, one homeroom with the highest school attendance wins a prize at CAMS! Ms. Calabro's homeroom had a 96.5% attendance rate for the month of February and was awarded donuts this morning for their prize.
