The School-to-Career Office was proud to bring our GEMS students to the Aerospace Engineering Expo at the Hartford Convention Center yesterday! Students gained valuable insight, networked with industry professionals, and experienced firsthand the exciting world of aerospace innovation.
We want everyone to have a fun and safe time this Friday on Halloween! Students wishing to dress up in costume must abide by the following rules attached. Good afternoon GEMS Families,
We entered a lockdown today around 10:55 in response to student safety concerns within our building. The lockdown then transitioned to a shelter in place and was cleared by 12:10pm. Due to this lockdown, high school lunch times were affected and students received their lunch later than usual. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep student safety as our first priority. Principal Colon
Sign your student up for an exciting Mini-Session of After School Clubs at Global Experience Magnet School! Running from March to April, this five-session program offers students the opportunity to explore their interests, build new skills, and engage with peers in a fun and supportive environment. Our offerings include Leadership Club, where students advocate for social causes; Broadcasting, where they create videos and podcasts for the GEMS News Network; Dungeons and Dragons, where creativity and teamwork lead to epic adventures; and Drone Team, where students learn precision flying through obstacle courses and competitions.
