GEMS will be having a Pajama Day fundraiser TOMORROW, December 12th for Connecticut Children's Hospital! Donations of $1 or more will be accepted up until tomorrow morning. Donating students will receive a wristband allowing them to wear pajamas to school.
NOTE: If pajamas are deemed inappropriate by administration, the student will be asked to change. If the student does not have an alternate outfit, they may be held in the office until a parent provides a suitable change of clothing.

Any juniors or seniors who are interested in our Travel Trip to Puerto Rico this spring must be registered by this Friday December 12th. At this time we will finalize our list of students attending. Armed with creativity, rhythm, and a lot of courage, students wrote and performed original rap verses entirely in Mandarin. They battled it out using clever rhymes, tones, and wordplay, turning language practice into an energetic performance.
The activity not only helped students build confidence in speaking Chinese, but also showed how language learning can be fun, modern, and deeply connected to youth culture.
