I wanted to take a moment to share some sad news with you. Mr. Giasson, who was a teacher here, has passed away over the weekend. We are sending our condolences and positive thoughts to his wife and family. We have shared this news with our school and support is here for any students in need.

Good afternoon GEMS Families!
We have officially made it through our first day and students have heard all the expectations for this school year. I was excited to meet many students individually and am looking forward to all their successes. I ask that you take some time this evening to speak with your student about their day here at GEMS. Please also review the uniform with your child(ren); there will be no hoodies or outwear allowed throughout the school day. All electronics are expected to be in lockers throughout the school day or will be confiscated/ and/ or need to be picked up by a parent or guardian. I appreciate your patience with dismissal transportation this week as we have over 30 different busses going to multiple towns/cities. We are working to make sure that all students make it home safely. If you are picking up your student, please send in a written note in the morning so that we can plan accordingly. If you have any questions, please reach out to me or the school. I look forward to your continued partnership throughout the school year.

Please see Mrs. Minicucci's google classroom to complete the link to select your world language preference. This form was due at the end of your 8th grade school year and if not completed by the end of day today a language will be selected for you as discussed last year. Thank you.
